Doug Bellen, MA

Douglas Bellen is an Albuquerque based musician and educator. He regularly performs with his bands Saving Damsels and Aladocious, as well as working as an audio engineer. He has engineered full-length releases for the Chuck Hawley Group, Kookie Jones, and Gar Sanders. In 2012 a track he engineered for Kookie Jones won Best Mastering at the New Mexico Music Awards.

As an educator, Doug has taught with Albuquerque Public Schools for thirteen years as an elementary music teacher. He has also been the Music Director for the Del Norte High School Theater Program since 2006. Doug also has an extensive background in classical music and has performed with the New Mexico, Santa Fe, San Juan, and Roswell symphonies; Albuquerque Chamber Symphony; Bosque Chamber Music Society; Music in the Mountains (Durango CO); Kissmah Brass; the Taos Chamber Music Group and Musical Theater Southwest.



John Bonvetti

Mr. Bonvetti served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corp. from 1970 –72, then attended University of Delaware in 1970 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and Business, with a minor in Marketing & Food Distribution. In the military he served the nutritional needs of his superior officers on a submarine. Everyone still loves his food!

He was responsible for the development and construction of over 700 upscale homes throughout New Castle County, DE and the surrounding community, ranging in price to over a million dollars. He has long been known for his commitment to excellence in Commercial and Residential Development.

Mr. Bonvetti is our consultant for Liberty Gardens. He is known for only using the best, and for the lasting quality and beauty of his construction. We are enjoying what he helped us put together for you!



Aaron Hale

With eighteen years of experience in various roles within the Graphics Arts and Printing Industry Aaron is currently the Integrated Solutions Marketing Manager for Canon Business Solutions.

As an Associate Director at InfoTrends, Aaron provided training for vendors, helped develop eLearning programs, wrote industry white papers and participated in multi-client research studies.

As Vice President of Digital Communications at the Premium Color Group he re-invented their brand as an MSP, converting their sales model from transactional to a solution-based model.

Mr. Hale has solution sales experience with Ilford Imaging, USA and Eastman Kodak, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.



Jeffrey Stuart Marlin, Esq

Like his father, Jeff attended Indiana University receiving a Bachelors Degree with Honors in Political Science and History in 1970 while playing soccer for Hall of Fame Coach Jerry Yeagley. Jeff remained at I.U. for three additional years receiving a law degree in 1973. Upon graduation from law school Jeff was appointed City Attorney of East Chicago, Indiana, and after successfully passing the Indiana State Bar, fulfilled his military obligation as an infantry officer in the United States Army

Presently he is the senior trial attorney with the law firm of Marks, O'Neill, O'Brien and
Courtney which has offices from New York to Baltimore.

He has cultivated an avid interest in politics and government. He has worked on numerous political campaigns and has functioned as a lobbyist and spokesperson on behalf of major interests in both the healthcare field and the insurance industry. An avid reader and viewer of classic films, he revels in the company and adventures of his daughter, Ms. Courtni Hale.

His philanthropic interests are far ranging. He is a regular contributor to many local and national medical organizations, his beloved I.U. and such Native American Institutions as, The American Indian College Fund, The Council of Indian Nations, The American Indian Education Foundation and The National Museum of the American.



April Mondragon

April Mondragon is a Human Being, Life Way Guide, and ALIS ~ Itlatol media arts producer. As Life Way Guide she weaves compassionate joyous inspiration to the unfoldment and realization of the authentic Self through The Art of Human Being with the Dreamseed Traditions, the five-fold Path of the Curanderisma, and Healing Arts Traditions from Turtle Island and Asia. She is Mestizo: Comanche/Shoshone, Spanish and Irish/English.

April is grandmother, media activist, artist, writer, story-teller, food grower-seed saver, and has conventional educational degrees in education, the humanities, multi-cultural communications, healing arts, and counseling. In addition to this she has a background in non-profit organization, curriculum development and has taught others from K-College. Renee Tucker, EMT

Renee is a NM State Licensed and Nationally Certified EMT-B. She performs volunteer work and training programs for Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). She also trains and volunteers in Albuquerque in emergency management and preparedness. She spent several years in Missouri working as an emergency dispatcher, jailer, and grant writer. Renee enjoys the philanthropic aspects of community involvement and feels it is important to contribute to the betterment of society.

She has worked in multiple business venues as an administrator and customer service manager as well as a corporate liaison and data analysis. She successfully ran a small business for several years, performing administrative, manufacturing, marketing and sales. As an estate trustee in 2012, she successfully administered business and personal functions with honest integrity.

Currently, Renee is a full time student working toward a degree in religion. She enjoys working with CNTK because it combines her skills in administration while potentiating a nurturing atmosphere of community engagement and growth.



Lucio Reyes Urbano - Host

Lucio Reyes Urbano, aka "Luciano," is celebrating two decades of alternative music programming here at KUNM. At 58 years old, he has been in the music industry for over 30 years. Today Luciano is a volunteer music programmer, on a mission. Since 1991, he has been experimenting with independent music of various styles as featured on many of our specialty programs. He has mastered the art of integrating independent music into international/world music formats with great results. "It's all in the flow" as he puts it.

Dr. Stephen Weiss

Dr. Stephen Weiss is a Board Certified Family Physician with a private practice in Holistic/Integrative Medicine in Albuquerque, NM. A Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, he enjoys teaching students and residents the art and science of medicine.
