Achievements
To date INTK has offered three Sustainable Food and Seed Sovereignty Conferences, bringing in nationally and internationally renowned speakers to inspire community leaders and students.  They have created a community garden at Tesuque Pueblo, and stored heirloom seed through those efforts.  Their Directors represent three areas of cultural heritage – North, Central and South America.

Directors

Flordemayo
As the President of INTK, Flordemayo represents the best of Central American tradition.  She is a  "Curandera Espiritu" (healer by divine spirit). Born in a small town in the big highlands of Central America, she grew up in a family of traditional healers, learning the art of “Curanderismo” in the traditional way: taught from mother to daughter, generation to generation.

Flordemayo is a frequent presenter at international conferences such, as the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Bioneers and recipient of the Martin de la Cruz Award for Alternative Healing, a prestigious honor given by the International Congress of Traditional Medicine.  Since 1999 Flordemayo has been a part of the Wisdom of the Grandmother’s Foundation. Currently Flordemayo is a member of the Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.

Patricio Dominguez
The Founder of INTK, Don Patricio Dominguez, has been active in fostering relationships between the Native American world and the mainstream world, as well as creating community within Native American culture.  A unique bridge between cultures Don Patricio not only grew up in a traditional way, he also studied engineering and is proficient in various kinds of technology.

He has helped to form International Elders Council, has come forward to share knowledge as an expert in various books, and has spoken around the world as an Elder, a Leader and Shaman.  He built a ceremonial kiva with his own hands and his community, and teaches ancient traditions to his students, regardless of their ethnicity or heritage.   He initiated the Sustainable Food and Seed Sovereignty Conference in an effort to keep altered seed out of New Mexico, and to teach the world.
