The project begun in Orange County NY has blossomed into a community venture that includes High Schools, Churches, Community organizations and Government collaboration.

The pilot garden can be seen below.  It has now quadrupled into a large community garden, and hundreds of fruit trees grow in an orchard all around.  What a success story for everyone!

New York Project

This year in New York State (Orange County, one hour North of NYC) CNTK has partnered with a community based group in Warwick NY in order to expand last year's community garden project.

We began behind Doc Fry Community Center with a pilot program that has expanded to three times its size.  It will also be replicated in at least three different locations, and our first garden will be used as a teaching center also.

A municipal compost pile has begun, and the cooperation of Village and Town officials has been key in the process.

We have also begun a forestry management project and garden center just outside of Warwick and are interested in working again with Parks and Recreation in order tp install community gardens in the Warwick County Park on Route 17M.
